Cookies – Be Careful What You Eat!

If you want to be a hacker or cracker, you must become aware of all the ways people can monitor your activity. The easiest one to start with and still the easiest to prevent is cookies.

Now some cookies are necessary and so secession cookies have to be allowed. Yet every time you close your browser, you should wipe out all of them. Advertising cookies do help the site owner but do nothing for you so it’s tempting to block them but why bother if they are wiped out every time your browser closes.

Now sex site cookies are really dangerous and can send you to jail. A site such as sets 4-5 cookies and tracks all your activities and the sites you link to. It’s almost cool to watch them spying on you and Firefox Browser “tools options” is a cool way to watch them.

Click TOOLS>OPTIONS>SHOW COOKIES after you go to; Then open the youngpervs cookie file and click on the individual files to see what the say. Click a few links and see how many new URL’s have set cookies and go back to the original youngpervs cookies and see how they have changed.

Even though your wife or mother doesn’t know where you go, you know you are safe when Big Brother is watching you.

Not all the SPYWARE and snooping devices being put on your hard drive is being done by so-called hackers; much of it is being done by seemingly reputable companies like Adobe/macromedia and sites that use their Flash Player, like If you use Flash Player, you probably have multiple Flash Cookies (also known as Local Shared Objects) on your machine and don’t even know it.

Flash Player cookies are dangerous and invasive. Many of them store extremely detailed personal info about your hard drive and machine, including your computer name and file directory paths, as well as what sites you visit, what you do there, etc. The Flash Player Cookies are not brief snippets of info like regular browser cookies; some are unbelievably long and most of them are accessible ACROSS DOMAINS.

Changing settings in the so-called Settings Manager at the Adobe site does NOT keep Flash Cookies
off your hard drive. We’ve told Flash NOT to store cookies repeatedly, but it keeps doing so anyway.

Adobe makes it difficult if not impossible to even understand HOW to disable the Flash Cookies function. On their site/Setting Manager there is NOTHING after you change settings to indicate whether the settings have been SAVED or not.

Most web-surfers probably have hundreds of Flash Cookie “Shared Objects” on their machines and do not realize it. Just do a search for *.sol on your hard drive. You’ll be amazed & chagrined to see all the secret Flash Cookies on your machine. Even if you delete them manually, they will be reset next time you visit a site like or any of the many news-sites that utilize Flash.

People should be complaining loudly to Adobe/macromedia and insist that they issue a patch for FlashPlayer that puts ALL AUTHORITY strictly into the hands of the end-user for managing, deleting, and blocking ALL Flash Cookies and doing so PERMANENTLY.

Thanks for listening. Now please contact Adobe and sincerely and fervently request the above changes, for all our sakes. For Adobe to be doing this surreptitious cookieing behind our backs is dishonest and reprehensible. It needs to STOP!

Please also educate all your friends & family about these invasive Flash Cookies. Thanks again.
